Unprojected maps (geographical coordinate system)</para><para>2. Maps using Lambert Azimuthal Equal-Area Projection, Central Meridian 90, Reference Latitude 50</para><para>All distribution maps where scanned and then georeferenced using ArcView 3.2 with Image Analysis Extension V1.1 .</para><para>Depending on map type, scanned images got edited using Corel Photopaint V10:</para><para>Type 1:</para><para>Distribution areas were colored uniformly, uncertain areas (shaped like question marks) were deleted.</para><para>Type 2:</para><para>The complex editing of type 2 maps is described in file 'Meth_geog_distribution_maps.doc'.
