Introduced and invasive species of Burkina FasoMarcoSchmidtSenckenberg / UNDESERT projectMarcoSchmidtMarcoSchmidtassociatedParty2015-11-16The list of introduced and invasive species has been extracted from information on distribution and origin of the species as documented in the Catalogue des Plantes Vasculaires du Burkina Faso (Thiombiano, Schmidt et al. 2012) and combined with occurrence records from the West African Vegetation Database (Janssen et al. 2011, Schmidt et al. 2012) to give a measure of frequency. All species with less than 5 records have been omitted, as they were considered not to be sufficiently established.
