It contains, firstly, information about multi-purpose useful plant species identified to be important for locals for e.g. construction, nutrition, energy, medical and hygienic purposes (i.e. Non-Timber-Forest-Products) and their relevance in terms of household economics. Respondents stated information about quantities of NTFPs harvested / gathered from the savanna woodland and the respective amounts consumed / sold / bartered or given away as a gift. Secondly, the dataset provides information about socio-economic attributes. These are: household composition and assets, sources of income, employment, agricultural production as well as animal husbandry (quantities). The survey comprises five different ethnic groups residing in thw two villages (Fulani, Ditammarie, Yom, Bariba and Kabie).
