The main dataset consists of species abundance data at 37 stations on the Dogger Bank from 1990 to 2010, except 1999 and 2007. Besides, there are supplementary datasets consisting of environmental data with reference to location (station coordinates) and time. These cover temperature, salinity, current direction/strength &amp; depth.
In addition, long term CTD data of ICES (www.ices.dk) are used to estimate variability and average values.</para>
<keywordSet><keyword> beam trawl</keyword><keyword> dogger bank</keyword><keyword> epibenthos</keyword><keyword> long term data</keyword><keyword>north sea</keyword></keywordSet><coverage><geographicCoverage><geographicDescription>North Sea</geographicDescription><boundingCoordinates><westBoundingCoordinate>1.0</westBoundingCoordinate><eastBoundingCoordinate>5.0</eastBoundingCoordinate><northBoundingCoordinate>56.0</northBoundingCoordinate><southBoundingCoordinate>54.0</southBoundingCoordinate></boundingCoordinates></geographicCoverage><temporalCoverage><rangeOfDates><beginDate><calendarDate>1990</calendarDate></beginDate><endDate><calendarDate>2010</calendarDate></endDate></rangeOfDates></temporalCoverage></coverage><contact><individualName><givenName>Moritz</givenName><surName>Sonnewald</surName></individualName><organizationName>Biodiversity and Climate Research Centre (BiK-F)</organizationName><address /><electronicMailAddress>msonnewald@senckenberg.de</electronicMailAddress></contact><methods> <methodStep> <description> <section> <para>Epibenthic beam trawl sampling &amp; quantitative analysis of species composition; usage of CTD- and RCM9-probes to gather environmental data.</para><para>Data Type: species abundance data; environmental data</para></section></description></methodStep></methods></dataset></eml:eml>
