Microhabitat analysis in small waterbodies

This dataset describes microstratification and biodiversity in a cold-temperate, macrophyte-dominated waterbody (for list of abiotic/biotic parameters see below). Hourly data of temperature and light as well as weekly data of chlorophyll a, PO42+, N, SiO2 will be measured in parallel in Portugal (Coimbra). The data will be used for abiotic/biotic validation of a coupled model, which should be the basis for future predictions under IPCC scenarios using multimodel-ensemble means (RCM).
