Nematoda data from Paul-Ungerer-Stiftung Project 2025 (Zuev)

The dataset is created during the Paul-Ungerer-Stiftung Project 2025 led by Dr. Andrei Zuev. The project was focused on the deep soil profiling (up to 1 meter) of nematode communities in Chernmozem soils under young tree diversity experiment (MyDiv experiment, Germany). Soil physico-chemical parameters and relative fungal and bacterial DNA amounts in soil eDNA (expressed in Ct values post-qPCR) were also measured. The dataset consist of two separate data frames on the sample level. The first data frame includes 11 soil parameters and 30 nematode-related values (e.g. biomasses and densities of individual feeding types) across two grouping factors (soil depth and dominating mycorrhizal type of the plot), while the plot IDs are also given. The second data frame represents a community matrix, indicating the abundance of 33 nematode taxa (primarily - on the genus level) across samples and the factorial design.
