Three small plots of about 10 x 10 m in forest in Eastern Hesse on Buntsandstone. One plot in Oak forest, two plots in a woodland succession after clear cut. Investigation dates 1951, 1952, 1954, 1956, 1957, 1959, 1963, 1967, 1969, 1976, 1989, 1990, 1992, 1994, 1996, 1998, 2001, 2004 and 2008. Next investigation in 2012.
