Use categories and relative importance of vascular plant species in Burkina Faso

Use categories for the vascular plant flora of Burkina Faso have been extracted from the 'Catalogue des plantes vasculaires du Burkina Faso' (Thiombiano, Schmidt et al. 2012) and a selection of scientific publications on plant use in Burkina Faso. The data also includes a relative importance index calculated for the species. The data is going to be used in the decision support tool of UNDESERT, part of the data will be published in Journal of Ethnobiology and Ethnomedicine (Zizka et al., accepted).
